Hutt lords throughout the Star Wars Galaxy use a number of brute species to enforce their will upon others. In Return of the Jedi, Jabba the Hutt uses members of the Weequay species to act as guards aboard his sail skiffs and barge. Weequays, who worship the god Quay are a simplistic species, so simplistic in fact that no one has a name, every member of Weequay society is referred to as Weequay. This Weequay was serving aboard the sail skiff which transported Luke Skywalker and his Rebel friends to the Sarlaac Pit on Tatooine. He like the rest of the guards on that skiff, perished at the hands of the Rebel heroes.
This Weequay was a simple repaint, with a small catch. I didn't want him to hold his staff the way it is intended, I wanted the staff to stand upright. To fix this, I cut the right hand off the figure and reattached it in the position shown in the picture, the wrist guards on the arm match up properly, however I determined this would not be the case for the left hand, so I did not alter it. The staff which is painted gloss black, with a silver and gold blade now stands in an upright position. The torso and arms were painted a dark tan, while white streaks were painted in the hair of the Weequay.
