Detailed Vintage Imperial Stormtrooper

This is my second intentional vintage custom since I began to make customs 5 years ago. Basically this a rehabbed and detailed vintage Stormtrooper. This poor guy was given to me in a definite used and abused condition. The white plastic was all yellowed out and their were paint and dirt marks of all kinds all over the place. So the first thing I did was paint the entire figure in a flat white, this took several coats to completely cover the yellowing that took place over the years. After that it was on to the detailing, I looked at the Commtech Stormtrooper for inspiration as its the best Stormie out there. The areas where the body glove is exposed were painted black along with minute details on the torso and helmet, including the "teeth". The coolest part of this figure has to be its sculpted holster on the left side. Designed to mimic the holster on the CT Stormie, this holster was my first attempt to sculpey an entire object for attachment to a figure. Though it is to scale with the blaster it is not capable of holding the blaster. This rehabbed Stormtrooper now stands guard in my vintage Death Star playset awaiting the opportunity to get shot down by the Rebel heroes.
