Jabba the Hutt employed a large number of individuals from many different species to guard himself, his palace, his guests, and his Sail Skiffs. This particular guard is a Trandoshan who was under Jabba's employ for only a short time until a Jedi and his Rebel companions attempted to rescue Han Solo in Return of the Jedi. At that point, this guard and many of his cohorts perished in the maw of the Great Pit of Carkoon.
This is a figure I've actually wanted to do for some time after seeing one just like it on the web. The Trandoshan was made by cutting the arms off of a Weequay and replacing them with a pair of Bossk arms. The heads of the Weequay and Bossk were swapped as well. The tunic was painted a flat black and the boots a light brown. There is no reason there are boots instead of Bossk's feet, I just didn't wanna do that. The helmet from a Lando Skiff Guard had its face plate cut off and now adorns the Trandoshan's head as he now stands guard in my Jabba's Palace diorama.
