For decades the vile gangster Jabba the Hutt has controlled the crime scene on the backwater world of Tatooine. Employing smugglers, bounty hunters, and guards from all over the galaxy, Jabba keeps tight reigns over the desert world. Unfortunately for Jabba, many of his employees plot to kill him and usurp his power.

Using the 3D Pop-Up Diorama of the Jabba's Palace, I've re-created many of the happenings in the Palace as depicted in Return of the Jedi  and Tales from Jabba's Palace. The recreations shows:

A thawed out Han Solo guarded by 4-LOM and Lando Calrissian in Skiff Guard, as they watch the entrance of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker to Jabba's throne room. The young Jedi confronts Jabba about his prisoners which include Princess Leia who has been subjected to wearing little to nothing on top of Jabba's dais. Though blasters and pikes pointed towards him, Luke's arrival has allowed many of the conspirators the chance to take out the Hutt ganglord. Such gangsters as Bib Fortuna, Ree-Yees, and Pote Snitkin all point their blasters wearily at Luke at such an angle that if chaos erupts they can get a clean shot at Jabba, while the confusion ensnares the loyal but stupid Gamorrean, Weequay, and Trandoshan guards. Jabba's band and dancers watch on with a curious eye, hoping whoever topples their master will allow them to leave their indentured servitude.

Note: Besides the enormous amounts of dust visible (I've since cleaned up and will get new pics taken), you can see 3 of my customs, a Weequay skiff guard, Weequay swoop driver, and a Trandoshan skiff guard.
