Imperial Naval Troopers are the backbone of security on major Imperial
installations, including Star Destroyers and Death Stars(hence the name
Kenner gave this figure) These troops are put through rigorous training at
Imperial academies such as the one on Carida, the best go on to be naval
troopers and officers, the best of the best go on to be Imperial
Stormtrooper.
The Death Star Trooper was an easy custom to make. I simply took the body
of an Imperial Death Star Gunner, lopped off the head, and placed on the
head of a Rebel Fleet Trooper. The helmet and chin rest on the head were
painted black, to give the Imperial look. Added was an RFT blaster, with
the muzzle painted silver, the way it should be and my DST was completed.
I left the armor on the figure with the belief that the DST's actually use
them, of course i could be wrong.
