A smuggler and starship technician, BoShek often flew hot ships for an order of B'Omarr monks. After beating Han Solo's time of under 12 parsecs in the Kessel Run, he destroyed a flight of Imperial TIE Fighters and became the object of a large-scale manhunt across the Outer Rim, ending on Tatooine. For a while BoShek stayed hidden in the monastery of the monks, also known as Jabba's Palace. Afterwards he frequented Chalmun's Cantina in Mos Eisley where one day he introduced an old man named Obi-Wan Kenobi to a fellow smuggler named Chewbacca. After that day BoShek disappeared and his whereabouts are still unknown to this day.
This custom recreation of BoShek was a long time coming for me. I had an idea on how to do this figure ever since Episode 1 came out, but I couldn't find a Bossk figure to complete it. Thankfully the clearance sales of 2000 occurred and I was able to scoop one up. BoShek is comprised of a Bossk torso, upper arms, and upper legs, where all the yellow parts are painted royal blue. The hands and feet of BoShek are taken from Garidan and painted red. The head is inspired from Ric Olie of Episode 1 fame. The head looked similar enough, so with a dab of black paint to get the correct hair color, all the pieces were fitted together to form the figure you see above. BoShek can be see 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at my diorama of Chalmun's Cantina in Mos Eisley.
