I can't believe I've done 100 customs in the last 4+ years. It's been loads of fun and sometimes ideas just come out of nowhere, as was the case with Custom #100, Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi. This custom which represents Old Ben during the events of A New Hope and is more or less an improved look to the original POTF2 figure, came about when I was looking through my parts bin and realized I could make this custom in just two minutes with parts I had already taken apart for previous customs.
The parts used for this improved Ben are the head from the original POTF2 Ben Kenobi, the torso, legs, skirt, and lightsaber from old man Anakin Skywalker (yes the saber isn't really Anakin's but Hasbro gave it to him anyways), and the arms and cloak from Naboo Qui-Gon Jinn. As I said these parts were used for prior customs, so without including the actual removal of the parts, this figure took all of two minutes to put together as the only modification to any of the parts is a wee bit of size increase to the arm holes on the torso.
Now with my 100th custom complete, the future looks to hold tons of more custom figures and vehicles to come.
