I used an exacto knife and cut off the bottom wings on the X wing, sanded down the slots for the wing blasters and then glued the wings onto the front. Then I glued down the top wing blasters permenantly and glued the bottom ones directly next to them. I then spray painted the whole ship black with the exception of the canopy. I then used silver and painted the shafts to the blasters, the landing gear and random places on the ship.
