A fan-fiction project I created almost 10 years ago, DEADLINE is a team of intergalactic bounty hunters that patrol the galaxy serving justice for those that can afford it. Originally conceived as a comic book series, it will soon become a series of customized action figures starring in their own photonovels!

Vinu Wen is the team's agent, accountant, and spokesperson. This Swokes Swokes orphan grew up in the Outer Rim Territories and worked for Jabba the Hutt for a time. Vinu left the Hutt's employ when he met Max Pierce, a hunter who was working for Jabba. He now spends most of his time getting contracts for the team and handling the finances.

Vinu Wen was made from a Moliere figure from the Disney's "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" line. I pulled off the head and cut off the middle fingers of the figure. Then I sculpted the head and the fur on his sleeves. I painted him to match the reference photo I drew all those years ago, but I also wanted him to look like Gragra.
