Valance was a normal Imperial Pilot who crash-landed during the Battle of Yavin. The Empire put him back together as a cyborg. He hated his robotic half, and he swore to kill Luke Skywalker. He eventually gave up that plan, and began to hunt other people, including a missing rebel spy. Valance died while battling Darth Vader.

I can see the irony of pairing off Han Solo with Dengar to make this figure, considering Dengar's story in TALES OF THE BOUNTY HUNTER. But, this seemed to make the most sense to me. I gave him the coolest-looking guns, to show how tough he was.
