This figure was inspired by the recent UNION comic book series published by Dark Horse comics. After many years, Luke finally settles down with the woman who once tried to kill him! Mara later joined the New Republic and fell in love with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.

This figure took some planning. It is essentially a "spare parts" figure, but the parts were REALLY close to the comic book. The Ewok dress was similar enough to the dress, I only needed to carve off the strings in the front.

Next, the fun part! The arms are actually 3 arms in one! They were all cut off at the same places, and glued together. The shoulders are from regular Princess Leia from the 2-packs, the main arms from the Ewok Leia, and the hands were leftovers from a Hoth Leia. Put them all together, and they are Wedding Mara!!

The colors are reversed from the photo, because how do you paint a cloth skirt? I didn't know, and I figures this would be good enough, so I painted the chest white, and added the pink designs. The flower on her chest is actually a repainted "bun" from Leia's head! What happened to the other "bun"? GLAD YOU ASKED!

The other "bun" is on Mara's head. In order to get the veil to flip back and forth, I had to sculpt new hair with sculpey, and repaint it. I then glued a repainted and sculpted bun to the top of the hair, with the cape in between it! Now, you can have Luke "kiss the bride" the proper way! Special Note
