A lot of cutting and gluing went into this custom! I chose the aduly Anakin figure because of the height. I wanted to make sure he towered over the other Jedi. I gave the figure Wookiee hands and feet by sinply cutting off the limbs and adding new ones.
I then cut off a few sections of the bandolier strap from Chewbacca and glued them to the front of Anakin's belt. Then I repainted the whole figure. The tan cloak pretty much remained the same, but I added a little texture to it by adding a brown wash to it. Now it looks like it has seen some action!
The head presented something of a problem. There was a chain underneath his chin for the original figure...but Tyvokka in the comics did not look that way at all. So, I grabbed a leftover piece from a ponytail of another figure and just glued it underneath the chin....now he looks like he has longer fur!
Finally, the lightsaber...in the firs issue, it is only halfway shown, mostly covered by a word balloon. But, you can see that it is an orange blade. I found this missile from one of the MANY toys in my basement, and I noticed that if I cut it right, it would look like one of the new-style lightsabers that Hasbro has been experimenting with.
I found a neat-lloking handle from another toy, and glued the two pieces together. The blade itself is a little thick, but then this IS a Wookiee Jedi we're talking about here!!
The 'Force Files' below were made for a poll I made for CollectStarWars.com. This was before I found out that Tyvokka was killed in the second issue. Of course, that's not to say he won't be making an additional appearance!
