In A NEW HOPE, on the planet Tatooine, the Sandtroopers conducted the search for the droids. There were several troops searching, some with different colors on the shoulder pauldron (what's a pauldron, anyway?) This is one of them.

Just remove the orange pad! That's it! Done!! There were several Sandtroopers who I guess didn't rank a shoulder pauldron..they can be seen at the scene at Docking Bay 94, where the Millenium Falcon blasts off!
