In A NEW HOPE, on the planet Tatooine, the Sandtroopers conducted the search for the droids. There were several troops searching, some with different colors on the shoulder pauldron (what's a pauldron, anyway?) This is one of them.

At some point, the Sandtroopers HAD to have clean armor, right? Maybe when they were aboard the transport ship? Well, that is where this guy came from....a behind the scenes Sandtrooper! He is a Stormtrooper, really, with the Sandtroopers pauldron stuck on, and the backpack glued to him. Just add the gun, and he is all set to get dirty!!
