Ihave to admit....I don't really know who this is. I mean, I know she is from the West End Games series of role-playing games, but I did not collect any of those, so my knowledge of her is very limited. There is a great picture and description (see below) of her in the STAR WARS ENCYCLOPEDIA, where I first saw her and thought she would make a unique custom. Here is the text from the book:

"A well-known smuggler, Platt Okeefe is also strikingly beautiful and intelligent. She's hard to miss with her silvery white hair and penchant for dressing in a white blouse and red pants, vest and boots. Platt Okeefe grew up on Brentaal, but eventually ran away from home and signed aboard a Sullustan starliner. She joined a tramp freighter crew in the Anarid Cluster, and gained a lot of experience as a spacer. Okeefe currently operates her own freighter, the Last Chance. Easygoing, she often passes on advice to other, less-experienced traders."

A true "spare-parts" custom figure! I ran out of decent Leia parts, so I had to make due with what I had lying around. I originally planned for her to be part of the official, "DAILY CUSTOM UPDATES", but I pushed her back time and time again, mainly because I wanted to improve her. Well, I changed the head and I like this one a lot better.

First, I glued all the pieces to together to make the figure. Then, I sculpted the gloves and poofy sleeves. I trashed the first head I made because it was just too big with all the hair I put on. So, I broke off all the sculpey and started over. Next, I cut and glued the vest from Aunt Beru so it had big sleeves and shoulder pads. Still not 100% right, but good enough...

Finally, I painted her to resemble the photo, and that's it! I gave her a gun just because...which was "dirtied up" with a drybrush paint job.
