My first accessory! I feel kinda silly listing this as a new figure, because the figure isn't new, just his accessory. In the comic book series, Ki-Adi wears this large hat to cover up his cone-like head. I only collected the first issue of the comic, so I have no idea what happens after that, but he wears it throughout that issue anyway....
I used sculpy of course for the hat, but to get it to shape properly and keep it thin enough, I used a cardboard toilet paper roll to shape it. First, I cut the roll so it wrapped around his head. Then, I cut out the face area...keeping the top part together. Then, I wrapped sculpy around the cardboard. I baked the hat, and then removed the cardboard and the sculpy kept its shape! I then added the "folds" onto the exterior and carved in "grooves" to make it look correct. Bake again, Let cool. Paint. Sounds easy, right? HA! YOU try it!
