This is the figure from this set I think I am most proud of. I had nothing to work with, and he came out much beter than I expected him to.
For his body, I used a leftover Squidhead figure from the Vintage line. This figure was mising bothe the head and hands, so I had to get a bit creative with him.
The body has a stump sticking up from it where the neck sits on, so my choices for heads was rather limited. So, I thought, "Why not sculpt an all-new head?" Which is just what I did. Plo Koon's head is 100% sculpey! The challenge was trying to recreate the texture on the side of his head. I accomplished this by making a string of sculpey and twisting it around itself and then squishing it together...really came out nice.
Then I made the robe by adding three layers of different colored cloth. The shirt, the inner robe, and the outer robe, which has sleeves, and a hood.
Plus, his knees are articulated so he can sit down in the chair! I didn't repaint the body at all, mainly because he would be under the robe all the time, so why bother?
