A malescout from the planet Cona, he is a scaleless reptile-like humanoid. Like many Arcona, Dazon has an addiction to salt, as indicated by his golden eye color. Doda Bodanawieedo (body) Grinch (hands) I'm on a roll with all thee cantina aliens this year! Hem Dazon was a fun character to tackle, since he head is 100% sculpey. It's a bit big, but since the character only showed up for a second onscreen, and I don't think his body was ever shown, it's all up to interpretation. To make him stand out even more, I added new hands to him. I had extra Grinch hands that I thought would make for unique hands, so I drilled small holes in the arms, and inserted the hands, maintaining the articulation. The only problem I had with this custom was figuring out what color to make him. Pretty much the only reference shot I could find was all in shadows, and not a lot is clear. There is another shot of an Arcona around, so I used that for some colors. I first just painted the whole head black. Then I went back with blue and purple and brown and gray for skin highlights, and I used yellow, green and white for the eyes. The outfit was a funny decision...I just mixed all the colors into a big goopy pile, and that's the color of his tunic!
