The real inspiration came from the movie GLADIATOR, and I thought it would be interesting if to make a similar arena for Jabba's amusement. Jabba could bet other Hutts over the outcome, and this guy would be the champion.

These EXTREME SOLDIERS are a cheap knock-off of the movie SMALL SOLDIERS--except they are held together by screws. Simply unscrew the body, and pop the Gamorrean head on. Then I started painting.

I tried to capture the subtle green and tan shading that Kenner used on the original figure, but then I decided to add some scars and shadows on him to make him look more fierce.
