The Gungan Grand Army consists mostly of militiagungs, or part-time soldiers. Individuals provide their own uniforms, resulting in some variation in gear and clothing.

I'm telling you, Gungans are fun! This guy started out as just a simple head swap, but I had to sculpt on the armor that wraps around his midsection. His wristbands are a bit different as well, with some extra sculpey added to them.

His hood presented a bit of a challenge. At first, I was going to use cloth, but I didn't like the way it looked. It just didn't match properly. Then, I thought I'd use sculpey, but I wanted it to be flexible and not crack all the time like sculpey sometimes does with thin pieces. Then, I remembered I had a piece of the Kenobi robe that was removed from my original Yaddle custom. So, with some repainting and sculpting the mask around it, I finally have a cool-looking hood!

Although the picture below shows 2 Gungan Guards, I really only have made the one....SO FAR!! I may make more! They are fun!
