• Many years ago, the Jedi Master known only as "The Dark Woman" discovered a young Cerean man who grew up to become Jedi Council member Ki-Adi-Mundi.
  
• Years later, The Dark Woman trained a padawan who succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force. She became Aurra Sing -- the "Jedi Killer" bounty hunter.
  
• Shortly after THE PHANTOM MENACE, Ki-Adi-Mundi traveled to Tatooine to find out the truth about Sharad Hett. Sharad had become leader of a band of Tusken Raiders.
  
• Sharad Hett and Ki-Adi-Mundi battled Aurra Sing, and she killed the Tusken Jedi. Ki-Adi-Mundi defeated her, but she escaped.
  
• Sharad's son A'sharad Hett left Tatooine to become the padawan learner to Ki-Adi-Mundi, taveling with the Jedi Master back to Coruscant.
  
• While on Coruscant, A'sharad sparred with The Dark Woman, learning a painful lesson in the process. A'sharad also befriended another ex-Tatooine padawan...Anakin Skywalker.
  
• Many years later, Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader. Vader hunts down The Dark Woman and after a fierce battle, kills her.

I wanted to make this character ever since I first saw her in the Dark Horse Comics series. She plays such an important role in the mythos, especially in the events around the time period of THE PHANTOM MENACE. It wasn't until I found the Grinch figure did I finally get a chance to make her.

This is really a "spare parts" custom, but the parts I used really fit. I chose Mon Mothma's head because it made the character look older, which she is. I cut of the arms from the Boushh figure and glued on the new arms from Leia...the gloves are sculpey.

I used the Greedo body because is was big enough to fit the arms and also thin enough to sculpt on the character's chest, which is larger than most Hasbro figures tend to be. I also sculpted the hair to be longer in the back, and flip out on the sides, although the sides needed to be cut back to fit in the hood.

Finally, the capeis cut off at the shoulder level, and is glued inside the upper part. I painted the whole thing purple, and then went back over it with a blue-black wash because it was too bright for me.
