I know you are probably wondering what I am thinking, making a wierd guy like this...and who the heck is he?

Well, back in the viontage line, there were these cheap knockoffs of the Kenner figures from other countries. The Turkish UZAY line featured some of the core characters, made with bad sculpts and weak plastic. For some reason, they made this figure shown at left. So, I thought he would make for an interesting custom.

I originally was going to JUST make this a repaint job, but I noticed that there is a big difference in the legs of the Vintage Snowtrooper and the POTF2 Snowtrooper. So, I looks to find a set of legs that were similar and thick enough to fit....out of my "parts box," I chose Labria because they were accurate and they were thick enough in the thighs.

I cut the legs off at mid-thigh, and glued the new ones in place. These new legs also give the figure an "action pose" whereas the reallegs just have him standing stiff. Repaint the figure, and now I have a Blue Star!
