BESPIN SECURITY GUARDS

These are the members of the security on Cloud City, located in the Bespin system. They are well trained, and under the command of Utris M'toc, they patrol and protect the citizens of Cloud City and its many visitors.

Believe it or not, I have had this custom planned for over a year! just assemble the parts, and sculpt the details. I was planning on having removable caps, but decided against it when the first time I tried to remove it, it broke! Similar to Utris M'toc, I originally had the blue a darker shade, but opted to make it brighter. Plus, my gold pen leaked all over the place, so I ended up painted some of the detail on with a brush instead. But this set turned out great, so I am pretty happy with it.

    After I sculpted on the gauntlets, hat and jacket, I changed his hair color and gave him a goatee, so it wasn't so obvious that it was Han under there.

    I sculpted on the hat, jacket, and gauntlets and even a turtleneck shirt that spins around. I was going to leave him along after that, but I wanted to disguise his "Panaka-ness", so I gave him a different skin tone.

    The hat, gauntlets, and jacket are all sculpey. I cut off the hair and painted the face to make him a different race. This one is my favorite of the set.

    I thought it would be fun to use the parts that Hasbro used for their lame figure from the Caarbon Freeze Chamber, but I changed my mind when I started to make this guy. I changed some parts around (because I used some of the original planned parts on other customs), and ended up with what you see here. The only bad thing is that this guy can't stand up too well.
