I was initially inspired by Brian Rutherford over at Wicked Force Customs to create this character. I stole some ideas from his version, but ended up using some different parts than his. I opted to use the "floppy hat" Luke because of the articulation in the neck and elbows. I cut off the sleeves and glued the calves of the other Luke like Brian's, and then added the Mick gloves as well (they are still articulated).
I then sculpted the mask over Luke's face and glued on the ponytail. I used sculpey to smooth out the front of Luke's shirt, and added a collar. Then I boiled the head and body separately, so I could paint them and add on details. When the paint was dry, I snapped the head in place.
The lightsabers: One of the lightsabers is the same one I used for Sharad Hett. Same with the Gaffi stick. Since these were passed down father to son, I followed the same example. The other lightsaber (A'sharad's) is made from an Obi-Wan handle with a Vader blade attached. I tied a string around the ends to represent the string he has in the comic.
