From RETURN OF THE JEDI: SPECIAL EDITION, Ak-Rev is one of the new band members for the Max Rebo band. He grew up in the Sriluurian monastary devoted to Am-Shak the thunder god. It is there he learned to play the thunder drums. Ak-Rev plays the power drum with Umpass-Stay, a Klatoonian bodyguard for the Hutt.

I cut off Weequay's arms, and they reattached them with sculpy. I cut off the braids and made the rest of his outfit with sculpy. Since his clothes were somewhat difficult to see in the film, I used the character sheet found in THE ART OF RETURN OF THE JEDI: SPECIAL EDITION book.
