Ephant Mon works for Jabba the Hutt. He also appeared in TALES FROM JABBA'S PALACE, and he was the main villain in the "Prelude to rebellion" story in the new prequel-era STAR WARS comic series.

This was made a few years ago from scratch. I started with a plastic cylinder and stuck some wires into to make the basic skeleton of Ephant Mon. I covered that with a layer of Sculpey and got the basic shape and then I cooked it. I then finished the sculpting and while doing that I stuck some hair into his cheeks and his head. After I cooked him again I did a little more modifying to his robes and I had to make the feet larger because he wouldn't stand on his own with that big trunk of his. I plan to make a articulated version one of these days but for now he fits in the Jabba Diorama perfectly.
