Commonly called "Dutch," Jon Vander led Y-wing Gold Squadron against the first Death Star in what is now called the Battle of Yavin. While the mission was successful, Jon Vander did not survive the assault.

Like everyone else I have a bunch of custom pilots. I like the way this one turned out and I haven't seen too many people do him. I used my dremel to get rid of Biggs' face. I then cut the face off of a Rebel fleet trooper and Super glued it to the head. I used A/B Epoxy to fill in the gaps. Now it's just painting the super detail with your eyes going cross from focusing on this tiny helmet. AAAHHHHH! Jedi must learn patience...
