Well I still don't own a Hasbro version, GRRRRRRR. So my man Steve Rivas made a bunch of head and helmet casts from his DS trooper and I bought about 6 of them. I made a few with Tarkin and a few with Peitt but I wanted something different. I had a bunch of generic GI joes so I took one apart and sanded inside and out to get the head to work with that body. I lightly sanded all the joints including the weird pivoting hips. I then used a black permanent marker to color all the joints since the paint will definately chip off. By lightly sanding down what you color the ink has something to stick and absorb too so it won't rub off. I used A/B epoxy to make the gloves, boots, that Imperial shirt and also the poofy pants. I took a piece of black cloth material and glued it to his waist for the "skirt". I then used epoxy again to make the belt and ammo packs. Glued a piece of plastic onto the belt for the holster. I then painted him flat black to match up with the magic marker. I used gloss black for the boots, gloves and helmet. Now he is fully poseable with 12 points of articulation including pivoting arms, legs, and waist. Yeah!
