Biggs Darklighter was luke Skywalker's childhood friend. Biggs joined the Imperial Academy and later defected to the Rebel Alliance. Biggs reunited with with friend at Yavin 4, but soon was shot down while flying against the first DEATH STAR.

This was essentially my first custom. I got the idea from a layout the Star Wars collecting magazine did. I memorized the recipe, bought the supplies, and made him not long after. The head was originally lando, but I had difficulty painting the details back on his face after painting the flesh tone on. One day it dawned on me that Phillipe, with some shaving, would work great. So I shaved him, and put some hair on his head, and bingo, luke's buddy. The rest is a simple repaint, save for some cutting/trimming of Garindan's cape, which isn't quite as easy as it sounds. The cape in the picture is my second attempt.
