With all the different rodians with similar names (greedo, greeta, beedo...) i thought it would be funny to make one named 'SPEEDO', and make him wearing a speedo!!! this little guy is from a particular clan of rodians that stuck more to the lakes and rivers on the jungle planet of rodia. and instead of becoming hunters of large prey items, they learned to fish. because of their aquatic environment, rather than having the green coloration of most rodians, this clan has evolved to a more blue color for better camouflage in the water. they are a very peaceful and serene clan of rodians. SPEEDO has just come up from a swim, and happily displays a nice 'chuba' which will feed his family nicely.

The accesories were removed by the trusty dremel. i wasnt too sure how to make the skin texture, then came up with the idea of using super glue GEL, and dabbing little bits here and there in a rough pattern. it came out much better than i hoped, and i easily painted over... i really should do more to the feet,flippers, but got lazy!
