I was really glad when they made Thrawn, but he really needs friends. I figured (no pun intended) that C'Baoth would do nicely. Now I know I didn't model him exactly like he appears in most pictures. I wanted him to be sort of ambiguous so that I could use him as an Old Republic Jedi or as the Clone, Joruus. Besides, I never pictured such a frail old man with that kind of chest definition (see cover of Heir to the Empire).

• Flashback Anakin Skywalker (skirt and legs)
• Naboo Qui-Gon Jinn (torso, cloak and arms)
• Ikira from the XYBER 9 line (head)

Boil and Pop all figures. Keep Ikira's head, Qui-Gon's torso, cloak, and arms, and Anakin's skirt and legs. Do whatever you want with the rest of the pieces as long as it's wholesome.

Paint the body parts as needed. I recommend not painting the cloak at this point in time if you are going to do so. Cut off Ikira's pony tail and sculpt him some hair and a beard. Also, fill in the little divot on his forehead. This will takes some patience unless you're an old pro with Sculpey.

Because C'Baoth has long hair in the back, you will have to figure out the best order to paint, assemble, and cure the figure. I painted everything but his head, assembled, sculpted the hair and then cured it in boiling water by holding just his head in. Paint the hair and face when done. Give him some eyes, too. Poor Ikira didn't have any.
