BoShek
Smuggler and Technician
|
|
One day, while reading the Star Wars Chronicles, I came across a great promo shot of BoShek. All at once it stuck me that he would make a great custom figure. Besides, he’s just so cool, isn’t he? By the way, don't send me email about how his gloves should be red. I know.

- Biggs Darklighter (gloves and legs)
- Ric Olie (head)
- Bossk (Upper arms and torso)
- Sculpey
- Styrene strips

Boil and Pop all three figures. (Save the rest of Ric for a Naboo Pilot custom.) Add a little Sculpey to Ric’s hair, mostly on the sideburns and the front coif. Cure Sculpey and paint hair Dark Brown. Attach Biggs’s gloves to Bossk’s upper arms. Add styrene strips on shoulder pads. Sculpt helmet clasps on Bossk’s torso around the neck. Cure and paint Brass (I used Model Master Acryl "Brass" #4672). Bossk’s torso will be large on Biggs’s legs, sculpt BoShek’s waistline up a little to compensate. Assemble the figure and paint his flight suit Blue (I used Model Master Acryl "Insignia Blue" #4742), White (I used Model Master Acryl "Semi-Gloss White" #4701) , Silver (I used Model Master Acryl "Silver" #4678), and Black as needed. Use a reference photo for this. Drybrush some Light Gray (I used Model Master Acryl "Light Gray") onto his flight bib for a weathered effect. Place BoShek in your Cantina.
