What happens to old cartoon stars? They become talk-show hosts, of course!

Seriously, SSPPAAAAAAAAAACCCEEE GGHHHOOSSTT used to be a pretty silly cartoon show way back when I was a kid. He hung out with these two kids and a monkey (Jayce, Jan and Blip) and fought these silly bad guys in space.

Cut ahead a few decades, and the guy gets his own talk show! Many of his co-hosts are the villains he used to fight (Zorak, Brak, and Moltar) and his guests usually get mad at him and leave the show wondering why they ever agreed to come on in the first place.

Now, me, I am not really a fan of either show...but my kids are. they thought it would be funny to make him, since he is a "space guy" and STAR WARS in in "space."

Okay, whatever...

This is a simple repaint that took FOREVER!! The white and yellow colors are perhaps the worst colors to use for painting customs. I ended up using spray paint to prime the figure--a first for me. I chopped off Batman's "ears" amd cut in the chest emblem with a knife. After priming him, I touched up some spots with white. Then i painted the rest of him. The worst thing to do is try and paint a black cape yellow, folks. But, I have say he turned out pretty nice....even though he is a goofy character.
